It’s one of the rarest types of coffee. Connoisseurs treasure it for its delicacy. And it is neither a pea nor a berry. This is a Peaberry!

Coffee beans grow within fruits called cherries; when ripe, they turn a vibrant red. Most of the time, the cherry contains two seeds that grow side-by-side. These are typical coffee beans. Growing together within the fruit, they develop that shape that you’re familiar with, with a flat side and a domed side.

About 5-10% of the time, however, only one seed grows within the cherry, possibly due to only one ovule being pollinated. These single beans are called peaberries.

Really a good coffee. It arrived freshly roasted. I have tried making this using Moka pot, cold brew and filter. Moka pot gave good result. Filter coffee was best. It is a bodied and nutty coffee. It is also mildly sweet and slightly acidic. It tasted great drinking it black, add some milk and you get an amazing latte! I liked this one the most out of 5-6 varieties I have tried from toffee coffee roasters.

Excellent coffee, predominantly robusta peaberry. The vanilla aroma fresh after the brew is bright and intense. The sourness is acute, that's a negative about this coffee (probably because it's robusta dominant). It has that mild sweetness of peas, which is quite pleasant. It had a woody overtone in the body too. The icing on the cake however, is its sweet finish. Lovely aftertaste, peas were never this sweet.

The auroma and smell is so Coffeesome! Could not resist to have first cup of this coffee. The texture of coffee is convincing, however, the taste was just at par or slightly below the expectations! I am a tea and coffee lover, and keep trying newer brands and products. This coffee has fairly made me smile! Delivery is the only part to be taken care, rest all good!
